Amphibian Migration

Amphibian Migration

Saturday, April 21st

6:30 PM

Angora Fruit Farm

Berks County’s Angora Fruit Farm boasts many different species of frogs, toads, and salamanders, which live or breed in the park’s diverse wetland habitats. Join us as we don our boots and headlamps in hopes of witnessing the natural phenomenon of their migration into the vernal pools and ponds in which they lay their eggs. A short program on the identification and life cycle of local amphibians will be given prior to the hike. Hope for rain and dress appropriately. Please bring a flashlight as well. This event is FREE, but registration is required. Call 484-509-2667, ext. 3 to register.
