Andi's Adoptables: Meet Tilton

They call me Tilton because I’m always tiltin’ my head! Sometimes it’s to hear you better and figure out my surroundings because I’m actually blind. I came to the ARL from another rescue where I wouldn’t have had such a great chance at thriving. Since being here the staff and the most wonderful foster family have given me a new lease on life! I’m much more confident in myself and have learned that the world isn’t quite as scary as I used to think it was. While I am blind, I’ve really gotten pretty great at navigating using all of my other senses. I’m searching for a family who will be very understanding of my limitations and that while I’ve bloomed socially, I’m still a pretty timid boy. I’m really hoping for a family who has some kind of experience with blind dogs. We need just a little more help than the typical dog. I would be okay with kitty cats, but if there are other dogs, then I’d prefer they be more low-key and not very rambunctious. I’m okay with living with kids, but I’d really like it if they were a little older and understand that I can be nervous, so they need to respect my visual impairment. If you have room in your home and heart for lil’ ol’ me, then come to the ARL today so we can meet!
