Glad you asked! I graduated from Indiana University of PA in 2005. While in college I got my start in college radio and loved it so much, I had to keep going. In 2005 I was an intern for WQXA-FM and later worked for WNNK and WTPA until 2007 as a promotions assistant. A few months and one aircheck later, I came here to Y102 in May of 2008. I started out as a weekender and a fill-in, and eventually came to be right here on Y102!! True story.
And for those of you who think, "Who is this guy? I bet he isn't even from around here!" I'm a local guy, born in Reading, raised in West Lawn, and a 2000 graduate of Wilson High School.
There you have it.
Back in the 90's while I was stillin middle school, I drooled at this kind of technology and wanted to have it. Unfortunately as we all know, back then prices were literally sky-high! Just look at this retro ad. NO ONE could afford this! I'm glad that you can get a new computer for much less nowadays!
During a wedding ceremony, one normally hears the priest or pastor ask if anyone has any objections to the marriage, and no one really thinks about it. What would happen if you saw these people object?
I can't believe this either! A Rasmussen survey reports that half of people have started their holiday shopping, while the other half hasn't started at all!
Of these people, 14 percent of people have already finished and are ready for Christmas! High achievers!
The good news for any of you who haven't started your shopping: You have about 20 days to go.
You're probably thinking, "I don't believe that." Well, unfortunately it's true.
According to a University of Tokyo research study, they played voice recordings of a cat's name being called by its owner. Unlike a dog, who would come over when called, the cat recognized the voice and just sat there with the "Yeah, so what?" look.
While people may love their cats, it's really a one-way street.
Are you a dog or cat lover? Do you agree with this?
