‘BACK IN BLACK’’ NAMED TOP GUITAR RIFF OF THE 80S

AC/DC’s “Back in Black” has been named the Top Guitar Riff of the 80s by Gibson.com.  According to the site, the entire Back in Black album is quite possibly “the greatest riff-oriented album of all time,” but they single out the title track as the most memorable. Coming in at number two is TheRolling Stones’ “Start Me Up,” followed by Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train,” featuring guitaristRandy Rhoads. Rounding out the Top Ten are: Scorpions’ “Rock You Like a Hurricane, Def Leppard’s “Photograph, ” Judas Priest’s “Breaking the Law,” Michael Jackson’s (featuring Steve Lukather), “Beat It,”  The Clash’s “Should I Stay or Should I Go,” Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and Rush’s “Limelight.”
