Sometimes I cannot believe most of my life I have spent talking and playing music, I don't even think of this as a job. The ride has been wild and somewhat adventurous. The times have changed from 8 tracks to records to CD to computer!

I have met some of the nicest people who count on me to make them smile or pick them up with a song, or just be there when they are lonely and need a voice. It has been rewarding with fundraising and volunteering.

I enjoy the finer things in life. The change of seasons, a glass of wine, animals, all types of music, romance, my best girlfriends, and my family. Selfish people have no rhyme or reason in my world. Give until it hurts. Live life the way you want, but be cautious. Don't hold back. each day is a gift. You can't "learn" talent, use the gifts you have and remember ....you're blessed, not lucky.

I have been around Y-102 in one form or another since 1992 when I turned on the microphone and announced that Michael Jackson was going to be played in the next 15 minutes. Yes, we played Michael for real back then!

I enjoy getting to know our listeners and share the morning together. Getting up early is not really that fun (especially in the winter), but we try to make it a little more bearable by talking, sharing, laughing and enjoying our coffee together.

Good morning! What you may have missed from this past weekend!

The NFL put on one heck of a show this weekend and the road to the Super Bowl continues this weekend. New England hosts Baltimore and Atlanta hosts San Francisco.
At the box office Zero Dark Thirty comes out on top followed by A Haunted House, Gangster Squad, Django Unchained and Les Miserables.
At the Golden Globe awards Argo picks up best drama motion picture, Les Miserables picks up best comedy or musical. Daniel Day-Lewis wins best actor in a motion picture and Jessica Chastain wins best actress.
MIss Alabama Katherine Webb will post for the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated.
Kobe & Vanessa Bryant have reconciled, Britney and Jason have not.
Meredith Vieira is leaving Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and rumor is Regis is thinking of replacing her.
Happy Birthday Dave Grohl (44), LL Cool J (45), Shepard Smith from Fox News (49) and Faye Dunaway (72).
