We’ll start you off with some appetizers from Aerosmith,
Stone Temple Pilots, The Pretenders, Maroon 5, and the Cars!

At 12:25 it’s  ourmain entrée – it’s the Beatles!

The British Library is putting handwritten Beatles lyrics
right out there with original copies of Shakespeare and the Magna Carta!  The British Library says it has acquired John
Lennon’s handwritten lyrics to “Strawberry Fields Forever”, “She Said She Said” and “In My Life”.  They were donated by Beatles biographer Hunter Davies.  The
library already has some rare Beatles materials, including partial lyrics written on hotel stationary on tour. 

I’ll be playing the rarely aired, “She Said She Said”,
plus Golden Slumbers/Carry that Weight/The End from Abbey Road.

For dessert today at 12:45 – it’s Cheap Trick!!

In Star Trek: Into Darkness, there's a scene where Alice  Eve is in her bra and undies for basically no reason and J.J. Abrams  got a little hate for it.  So on Conan, J.J. explained himself a bit and then he  showed a deleted scene of Benedict Cumberbatch in the shower.

On this date in 1971 - their album "Sticky Fingers" started a four-week run at #1 on the US Charts, the group's second US #1 album!  The artwork for Sticky Fingers, which on the original vinyl release featured a working zipper that opened to reveal cotton briefs, was conceived by American pop artist, Andy Warhol!

I'll be playing 2 songs from Sticky Fingers that have never aired on Y-102 - "Sway" and "I Got The Blues"!

Then for dessert – it’s Motley Crue to wrap  up  the Lunch Box
