Congratulations to Katie Harlove, winner of the Chesen Laser Eye Center The Gift of Sight Contest. Katie received LASIK surgery gratis on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Chesen Laser Eye Center in West Reading, PA. Last year Katie had...

complicated heart surgery and ended up having a massive stroke resulting in the total paralysis of one side of the body and complete loss of speech. Today, she is walking with a cane and speaking–something her doctors did not expect her to do again. Since she wore contacts and had difficulty inserting them into her eyes due to her paralysis, she is excited and appreciative about having LASIK.

I had the opportunity to interview Katie a week after her LASIK surgery and I want to share that interview with you:
